Supermarkets include Morrisons, Marks and Spencers and Sainsburys. We highly recommend a visit to Turnbulls Butchers located in the retail park.

There is a leisure facility with a large indoor swimming pool, gym, various courts and children's soft play.
Wooler
Heading North towards Scotland, Wooler is a 15 minute drive from Powburn.

A traditional border village with a choice of shops and restaurants.

We highly recommend a visit to Ad Gefrin. An Anglo Saxon museum and Whiskey Distillery, newly opened in 2023.
Set within the distillery is a restaurant offering snacks, lunches and evening meals.
